How it Works
During a storm, water flows through the gutter system or catch basin into a corrugated or smooth wall drainpipe and away from your home's foundation into a popup emitter. Hydrostatic pressure causes the popup emitter lid to open and disperse collected water at safe areas downstream and away from your foundation or erosion-prone landscapes. Once the flow dies down, the lid shuts until the next heavy rainfall. StormDrain popup emitters stand out from others because when there's no steady flow of water, the lid stays shut. That means no debris can make its way into the pipe and prevents from rodents entering.
