‘Tis the season for giving back!
Over the weekend, the GreyDock team headed over to the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan for a morning volunteer session. Each person sorted a variety of dry and canned goods, from cans of corn to boxed cake mix.
“We really wanted to get out and give back to the community before Thanksgiving,” said a member of GreyDock’s purchasing team. “Working together outside the office was a great teambuilding activity!”
With everyone’s help, we were able to fill 162 boxes for families in need—that’s 7 pallets!
Every year, the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan distributes over 28 million pounds of food in 22 counties in Michigan.
